Are strollers allowed in the 5K run/walk and if so, do we need to register the stroller rider(s) Yes, stollers are welcome in our event and no, you don’t have to register the stroller rider(s) for the 5K event.
Can I pick up my packet on race day? Yes. While we encourage you to pick up your packet at Dick’s Sporting Goods on Friday, October 10 from 5-9pm or on Saturday, October 11th from 10am – 2pm, you may pick up your packet on race day between 6:30 – 7:45am.
Are dogs allowed? Yes, dogs on a leash are welcome. If you plan to bring your dog, at the start of the race, please position yourself near the back of the pack with the walkers so as not to interfere with the highly competitive runners near the front.
How will I find out about the results? The results for the top 3 overall male and female winners will be presented at the awards ceremony beginning at 9am. A complete list of results will be posted on-line as soon as possible by the Kansas City Track Club following the completion of the event. Posting of the results usually requires one or two days.

Where should we park on race day? Town Center Plaza has designated areas available for parking and there will be parking attendants guiding traffic.
Is it possible to donate to TheAbby Glaser Children’s Heart Fund after the run?

Will Abby’s Run be cancelled if it rains? No, if it is just raining, the run will go on. However, if the weather is more severe, the Leawood Police Department may cancel the event to ensure public safety. Abby’s Run will not be rescheduled this year.
